Thursday, January 31st, 2008

By Linda Kate Correli So, you dream of writing an interesting, rewarding, and valuable research paper and receiving a high estimate of you work from you professor? Then its vital that you start with brainstorming interesting research paper ideas and finding a good research paper topic for your work. Sorry to disappoint you, but searching everywhere for good research paper topics round the clock will not be a way out! All attempts to find good ideas for research papers in the Internet, libraries, and manuals will be in vain, for they are filled with battered, run-of-the-mill research paper topics, or the ones that are impossible to investigate. However, it is possible to derive a good research paper topic from whatever you do during a day. Keep on reading, and you will find out how to find a good research paper topic to your liking with ample information on its account. Let us track your everyday activities and see whether there are some ideas for research papers you can come up with. Suppose, it is Monday, 8 a.m. After your alarm clock wakes you up with a start and takes you back into the harsh reality, you switch on the radio hoping that the voice of a radio DJ will lift your spirits and tune you for good doings of the day. This very voice says that in 5 seconds you will be offered a daily astrological forecast. Whether skeptically or whole-heartedly, you learn what will happen to you today. Wait a minute: skeptically or whole-heartedly? Bingo! It is high time for you to decide on your opinion of astrology in terms of a research paper topic in Science, which could sound like Is Astrology a Pseudoscience? Youve got your first research paper idea of the day! Now you are rushing to the university and it strikes you that the majority of buildings you are passing by are office blocks with costly equipment that needs to be protected by built-in security gadgets. What are Built-In Security Features in New Constructions? How Do They Work? could be the heading of good research paper topic in Architecture. Youre at the university, a cradle of everyday stress that drives you mad. Why not take at least one advantage of the stress and turn this nagging daily problem into a good research paper topic? You could think of the causes of stress and investigate the problem on the scientific level. Moreover, you could give a hint to your teachers on how to alleviate tension in the classroom in your research paper. They will appreciate your efforts and estimate your research paper at its true value. As a rule, after classes you visit a local cafeteria with your friends. Bet your favorite is McDonalds, where you can chat and have a bite at a time. Is that bite harmful? Or Are Fast Foods Synonymous with Junk Food? It can be a splendid research paper topic that would be based on your own experience, feelings of other consumers, and numerous poll results, since the country is full of fast food chains, the biggest of which is your beloved McDonalds. By the way, how McDonalds chain spread all over the world? Try to find out and write a research paper on The McDonalds Hamburger Success Story. It would be a nice investigation for a business research paper. Surely, once a day you go to a local shop to buy food, where the cashier asks you politely whether you will pay in cash or with a credit card. How things change! Several years ago nobody could even think of all these electronic devices, but now we cant live without credit cards. Why? What Factors are Contributing to the Expended Use of Credit Cards? What Might Influence Their Decline? After shopping you fill the refrigerator with the products humming your favourite song, but a weird thought stops you: How did our ancestors manage with food preservation when there were no fridges? There must have been some alternative to frost! Thats a really nice boon. In the evening, you sit down in a comfortable chair and watch TV, the most favorite activity that takes approximately 170 minutes from 24 hours, according to a U.S. consumer survey. Did you pay attention to that? Do it now. This burning problem needs immediate research. Do investigate television as the phenomenon of the modern world; try to find out what it gives and how it influences our consciousness. From the first seconds of watching TV, you are most likely to catch a glimpse of annoying ads, so as they take 15 minutes out of a typical TV hour. And you think: Oh, Gosh! Not again! Television is not an Entertainment Medium, it is an Advertising Medium. And you get another good research paper topic in Sociology that will be likely to respond to everyones feelings about ads. Before bedtime you want to have a bath, but your younger brother/sister turns up. You fail in the marathon to the bathroom and end up extremely mad beside the closed door. But instead of grumbling, you could thank your sibling for making one more research paper topic come into your mind: Do First-Born Children Differ from Those Who are Born Later? What are the Possible Reasons and the Significant Characteristics for These Variations? Now you can forget about your bath session and peacefully go to bed, since the mission of the day is complete: you have got an abundance of research paper topic ideas. As you can see, it wasnt difficult. It is possible to find good research paper topics without putting too much effort into the search. As Seneca once put it, the best ideas are common property, you only need to stretch your hand and take them. So, be sure to recognize good research paper topics among the ones flying in the air. Injury At Work? Workplace Injury Lawyer Will Help!

Thursday, January 31st, 2008

By Anna Henningsgaard Since the days of Upton Sinclaires The Jungle, workplace injury law has improved to protect workers and repay them for injuries incurred at work. Departments like the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) have been developed to monitor working conditions and maintain a benchmark level of safety for workers. Not only is your employer responsible for providing a safe workplace, they must support you when you suffer injuries on the job site. OSHA penalizes companies for dangerous working conditions. These are some very strict regulations, and it is a good idea to contact a lawyer if you mean to hold your company responsible for injuries youve suffered. Since its inception in 1971, OSHA has helped to cut workplace fatalities by more than 60 percent and occupational injury and illness rates by 40 percent. In the past, workers had to fend for themselves. People working in dangerous industries were not paid when they had to take time off for injuries, even when the injuries happened at work! These employees who took on extra risk by working difficult and dangerous jobs were not necessarily paid more, so it was often the marginalized members of society such as recent immigrants who were forced to risk their lives daily just to get by. Modern standards, such as those established by OSHA, seek to make this abuse a thing of the past. Workplace injury and abuses still occur, however, especially if you dont know your rights. If you have been injured at work because your employer has not provided appropriate safety measures or you have suffered a workplace injury and were subsequently laid off or not paid for your recovery time, contact a lawyer right away. Woman Washes Jesus Feet with Tears, Alabaster Flask of Fragrant Oil Dramatized Story Luke 7: 36-50

Monday, January 28th, 2008

By Matthew Robert Payne She was dressed in her most expensive and most treasured gift. Her hair was set up and held in place with clips and fashioned to look exquisite, her skin was gleaming and her whole body smelled like a delight and good enough to eat and still she was nervous. She sat sipping her wine in the bazaar and the people who knew her paid their respect by bowing their heads and she drank the wine slowly but she could not stop her hands from shaking. Her nerves were shot to pieces, her stomach was in knots and her mind was screaming for her not to go ahead with the meeting but her heart was not letting her off. He was such an important man and everything that normally gave her power had not worked its spell on him. He was the first red blooded male that had not been swayed by her beauty and had not been made weak at the knees from a glance and a smile from her. Sure hed smiled at her when she smiled at him, but there was no attraction in his eyes, their was no lust in his gaze, it was pure love she saw in him and a love like her father used to give her in his gaze as a child. Shed watched this Rabbi from the moment hed come to her town. The people were all talking about him and he possessed the power that all of Israel had been waiting for. They were whispering that he was the man that would free them from the slavery and tyranny of the Romans and yet she wasnt a lady that liked to hear second hand news. From the day she grew breasts to this day she had never met a man who didnt fall weak into the fascination of her and have thoughts of possessing her naked in their own bed chambers and for many years she had used her power over mortals to establish her fortune. These powerful men that bought her time were never powerful enough to resist her charms and for those who couldnt afford her or as in the Pharisees case their own reputations prevented them from being seen with her, they all still lusted after her and manipulated nearly all men with her charms. No man had ever broken her since she was a child and no man had fully seen her vulnerable because her power and her intelligence, good humor and her beauty always won the most sincere and devoted husbands heart away from his beloveds even if it was just a glance every time she passed by. She was the bad companion of many men, but no man owned her and no money in the world could buy her and she used men and their wealth and even their sexual prowess simply to feed her own indulgent lifestyle. She was the secret desire of all men in her town and she was the envy of many women if they could admit it to themselves. Oh the ladies liked to think they would not sell their bodies and many of the devout women in the town would never do that, but few of the women in town didnt secretly wish they could be as beautiful as her. And now this Rabbi had come to town and stirred the people up. Some of her best clients had felt remorse for their lifestyle and had found the courage to say no to their lusts and many of the women were flocking to him simply to sit at his feet and to listen to him. For quite a number of days the whole town was alive and speaking of him, devoted their spare time and even left their work behind to listen to him preach. Sure shed listened to him also. He made a lot of sense and was funny and very intelligent. He had a way of making his points by using common everyday terms and practices and yet there was so much wisdom and depth to what he was saying. Every time she approached and sat at the back there was a commotion and it was the one time in her life when the men looking at her annoyed her and she wished all the eyes of the crowd would get off her and leave her at peace alone at the back to simply listen. As she listened to a number of his discourses it seemed uncanny how as soon as she had sat and made herself invisible to the commotion she had caused at her arrival and got to a place where she was quite comfortable enough to listen without people looking at her, he would suddenly finish off a story mid sentence and start another story about her. Every time she sat down to listen, this Rabbi started to preach as though he was sitting face to face in a room with only her in it and was preaching what he thought she needed to hear. The first time she heard him he quoted the prophet Jeremiah and chapter nine and said that a wise man should not take glory in his wisdom and a strong and powerful man should not take glory in his power, nor a rich man should not take glory in his riches, but the only thing a man should take glory in is that he knows his Father in heaven and understands his Fathers character. This sermon was the first one she had heard. He took the time to go through everything she held important. She was one of the most powerful women in the town and he explained that all power is given by God and he can take the power off a person whenever he chooses. He went on to say it does not matter how strong you are and how many people you can control because even if you command an army you can still have your life taken by one battle or one disease you didnt see coming. Then he said all the wealth in the world, while it may buy your fleeting happiness on earth it does you no good in the eternal hell fire of Hades where many rich people end up. Then he talked about how beauty is only skin deep and true beauty is not something that has an outward appearance but rather it is a hidden thing found in the heart and the qualities of a holy women are much more enduring and wholesome then the prettiest girl in the world. Everything the Rabbi said hit her and cut her like a knife and she could never seem to stay for hours like the others did. She mostly had to get up and leave as she was getting so hurt and cut up by what he was saying that she was going to find herself crying or shouting out at him in anger neither of which she wanted to do in public. Finally the day had come today where she had decided to approach him and worship him and let him know that he had broken through to her and that she now understood that her whole life was meaningless and could he please somehow say something or do something that could give her hope as her life had lost all its joy, the power was no more fun, her money disgusted her and even the taste of food and wine had turned bland. How would he accept her? Would he be harsh and rebuke her for being such an unworthy harlot or would he live up to being that gentle man that she saw playing hide and seek with the children in the marketplace? Was there really a life for a lady like her, could she really one day have purpose and this inner beauty that those holy women she admired had. Could he wash away all her shame and make it clear to the world that there could be new life. Hed healed lepers and they had come back into new life in community and were accepted by the priests and the people and were considered clean and able to go into the synagogue to worship, and he had healed all sorts of people, even his best followers used to be mere fishermen and not any learned Pharisee, surely this man was into the common folk, but would he accept her and declare to her peers that she was clean and a new creation? She almost vomited a few times on the way to the house where she knew he was. It was a very spiritual and devout mans house and she was going to interrupt him during dinner, but even this man liked the way she looked and like to sneak a peek when he thought she wasnt looking. Her hands trembled, sweat beaded on her forehead, her legs were jelly as she pulled the curtain back to enter the room and when she entered the Rabbi stopped speaking as did the whole room stopped listening as they looked up to see her in her finest and most expensive dress, with her finest jewelry and looking the very best she could look but being modest in her dress out of respect.and the Bible picks up the rest of the story Luke 7:36-50 36Now one of the Pharisees invited Jesus to have dinner with Him, so He went to the Pharisee’s house and reclined at the table. 37When a woman who had lived a sinful life in that town learned that Jesus was eating at the Pharisee’s house, she brought an alabaster jar of perfume, 38and as she stood behind Him at His feet weeping, she began to wet His feet with her tears. Then she wiped them with her hair, kissed them and poured perfume on them. 39When the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, He would know who is touching Him and what kind of woman she isthat she is a sinner.” 40Jesus answered him, “Simon, I have something to tell you.” “Tell me, teacher,” he said. 41″Two men owed money to a certain moneylender. One owed him five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. 42Neither of them had the money to pay him back, so he cancelled the debts of both. Now which of them will love him more?” 43Simon replied, “I suppose the one who had the bigger debt cancelled.” “You have judged correctly,” Jesus said. 44Then He turned toward the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair. 45You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet. 46You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet. 47Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgivenfor she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little.” 48Then Jesus said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” 49The other guests began to say among themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?” 50Jesus said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.” If this lady were to speak today lets imagine what she would say today to us:I left that house and went skipping down the road with my hair down and with tears of joy in my eyes and the next day I spent a whole day at the feet of Jesus and I suddenly wasnt getting cut with every word its as though every word was food. And speaking of food, food stopped being my idol, my looks became less important to me and knowing the truth of the scriptures and more of Jesus Christs truth became the biggest priority in my life. Jesus made me cry a few times more in later years and I sowed quite a lot of my fortune into the early church and was given a role to play in the redemption of many people in my land. It does not matter what your secret sin is. It does not matter what power your sin has over you and what deficiencies hold you back from walking in the purity and the liberty of full obedience to Jesus Christ. One thing is true, the worse a sinner you are when you meet Jesus, the more you love Him when He accepts you with open arms. I urge you, dont let pride stop you from weeping in your next worship service, take the liberty to fall to your knees in church and weep and confess your sins at your Masters feet. Bring your best oil and anoint the foot of the cross and worship the only man in the world that NEVER lusted after me or any other women. We owe Jesus our whole lives as he freed us from every debt on that cross. Kneel at church and confess your sins at the altar and ask for prayer and to be anointed and set free and Jesus will meet with you just as sure as He met with me!! What You Believe Is What You Get

Saturday, January 26th, 2008

By Lee Salinas Success demands that you believe you will achieve it. If you dont believe you can do it whatever IT is - youre doomed to fail. History is replete with examples where peoples unbelief resulted in failure. Big time failure. Let me give you just one example from one of my favorite stories in the Bible that you have probably read or heard about yourself. The Israeli people had been living in bondage for over 400 years in Egypt. They were forced to live in a foreign land. They were forced to work at hard labor. They were forced to do without even the basic comforts of home. They were forced to do without those things that you and I would take for granted. The Land of NOT ENOUGH. Egypt signified the land of not enough. For 400 years, they had just enough to get by every day. Every day was a carbon copy of the day before. But deep down, they knew there had to be more to life. Like them, maybe youre just getting by. Maybe youve been getting by for so long that you no longer think it can ever get any better. The Land of MORE THAN ENOUGH. But the Israelis prayed to their God for what we all want. They were sick and tired of living in the land of just enough. Like you, they wanted a better life. In due time, God did what He always does. He answered their prayers. In fact, although they didnt know it at the time, the long wait for their prayers to be answered was worth it. God promised to give them a choice piece of real estate. God promised them safe passage to, and possession of, the Promised Land. In the Promised Land, they would never lack for anything again. In fact, God described it as the land flowing with milk and honey. The Promised Land truly represented the land of more than enough. I suppose all of us have a reluctance to believe. We say we want evidence, but even when we get evidence, we remain skeptical. That was the case with the Israelis, and it is also the case with us. Think about it. God himself told them they could have the land! Yet they took it upon themselves to put a question mark where God had placed an exclamation point. They had been living in bondage for 400 years. They were living hopeless lives of quiet desperation. They had accepted their lot in life. They didnt question. They just did the same thing they were told to do day after day. Sameness was their security. They didnt realize they were capable of much, much more. Not surprising, taking over the Promised Land sounded too good to be true. So the Israelis asked their leader, Moses, to send 12 of their own folks to go spy on the inhabitants of the Promised Land to make sure they could really take it over. Well, sure enough, 10 of the 12 spies returned from the Promised Land with a negative report. They were consumed with the fear of unbelief. They didnt measure up to the inhabitants of the land. They considered themselves mere grasshoppers compared to the giants that occupied the land. Their fear was all-consuming. Their fear was contagious. It spread to everyone in the camp. Because of their unbelief, God told them would never possess the Promised Land. But wait a minute. What about the other two spies? What did they think about occupying the Promised Land? Not surprisingly, they were ready to invade the land and take it over. Why? Did these two men have a better plan? Were they more intelligent than the other 10 spies? No. In a word, they simply believed. They had an unshakable belief that they could take the Promised Land. But they were in the minority so the majority prevailed. The entire camp made a bad choice and turned their backs on the chance of a lifetime. Because of their unbelief, they forfeited the opportunity to live in the land of milk and honey given to them by God himself. The Land of JUST ENOUGH. So what were the consequences of not taking over the Promised Land? God did not allow them to enter the Promised Land. Instead, they were relegated to wandering in the wilderness. Day after day they wandered in the desert. Sure, God took care of them. He provided them daily manna. They had just enough to survive that day. The next day, they got more of the same to survive. They wandered for 40 years. For 40 years, the desert represented the land of just enough. Gods plan was for them to leave the land of not enough and go directly to the land of more than enough. God never intended for them to wander for 40 years in the land of just enough. Gods desire was for them is the same desire He has for you and me - to live in the land of more than enough the Promised Land. But they didnt believe. Dont make the same mistake yourself. You graduated from high school. Maybe college. You got your first job where you probably made just enough for you and your family to get by. But you want a better life for you and your family. So you wander around from job to job certain your next job will pay you enough to get you to the land of more than enough. But perhaps, like the Israelis, youre just going around in circles. You will continue to wander in the desert of your life for 40 years. Then retire broke. Or you can decide to believe you can do it whatever IT is and proceed directly from the land of JUST ENOUGH to the land of MORE THAN ENOUGH. Its your choice. What you believe is what you get. 10 Steps to Overcome Anxiety

Friday, January 25th, 2008

By Doug Petersoon The hard part is getting over the social anxiety itself. Sometimes you may think there is no hope and that you are stuck suffering with anxiety for the rest of your life. I have news for you, the people who think this way are the ones who will most likely NOT recover, or to a greater extent worsen their condition! So my First technique is this. Even if each day is no better then the rest, tell yourself tomorrow will be better and believe your own words. If you continue to tell yourself I cant do that then chances are you never will. Second, take baby steps. Do not try to rush into anything as this can only lead to stress which will bring you down. Lets say that you are having trouble entering a crowded shopping mall. There is no need to just go right in and walk around, just try to get a foot in the door or even stand near the door. Whatever brings you closer! Again DO NOT RUSH THIS, if you can manage a foot in the door Monday dont worry about having to do it all over again Tuesday. Take your time and go at your own pace. Third, invest some time into a personal journal. This step is so simple yet so effective. Write down your accomplishments and your failures. Over time you will notice (thanks to your journal) that some things come easier to you then others. Try to focus more attention on the activities that are the hardest. Getting a quarter of the way on something which is difficult will greatly increase the activities that come easy to you. For example, you can shop in a small convenience store with little discomfort. Instead of trying to master the small convenience store focus your attention on a major shopping mall. Fourth, make, buy or borrow a bracelet, necklace or anything that is not common in your attire. Use it as a reminder that you can do this! When you are in a situation that causes panic a simple reminder that you can get through this can be very beneficial. Fifth, Im sure you have heard of this one before but it is often over looked and left out. Breathe deep breaths! Anytime you are in a situation that makes you panic, take a few big deep breathes, and remember to breathe slowly. Sixth, okay this one is a bit silly but also very affective. A lot of anxiety suffers start to go into a panic attack on the first sign their body gives them, which is usually sweating and more specifically sweating on your palm of your hands. Heres where the silly part comes in, antiperspirant, apply some on your palms before any upcoming situation that you think may cause a panic attack. Now Im not saying pull it out and apply it mid-conversation with someone, but I do know a few people who carry a stick in their back pocket. Seventh, talk about it. Stop Overeating Now - 10 Simple Strategies

Thursday, January 24th, 2008

By Sheri Zampelli Do you find yourself struggling to stay on track with your eating and weight loss goals? Give these 10 simple strategies a try: 1. Forgive Yourself Get off the I already blew it so I might as well eat everything in the kitchen mentality. Let go of judgment. Regardless of how much you ate, eating more is not the solution. Put down the food. Walk away, take a deep breath. Tell yourself, I always do the best I can. I forgive myself and let go. 2. Eat small meals every 3-5 hours Eating regularly helps prevent low blood sugar or severe drops in your energy level. It also decreases temptation to choose quick, pick me up foods and keeps your metabolism revved up. 3. Drink Something or Chew Gum First Sometimes habitual eaters mistake feelings of hunger for the need to drink something or chew something. If you take a pause to drink or chew gum, it could help save you from unnecessary eating and the resulting fat storage. 4. No More Fad Diets or Starvation! Fad diets and starvation lead to the Deprivation Response which means you want more and more of whatever if is youre not supposed to have. Take all foods out of jail and allow yourself a wide variety. This will help insure long-term, stress-free success and a healthy, active metabolism. 5. Surrender to Your Cravings from Time to Time No really, you can do it. Its not reasonable to expect yourself to NEVER eat sweets or fats. Moderation is the key to long-term success. Occasionally check in with yourself and ask, what do I REALLY want? Fully enjoy your favorites. Eat slowly, chew throughly, savor the flavor and the freedom of allowing yourself to eat a variety of foods. 6. Focus on Quality, Not Quantity Settle for nothing less than the best when possible. A high-quality, fresh, homemade meal is satisfying on more levels than a frozen meal you heat in the microwave. The increased satisfaction you experience will help curb your tendency to want more, more, more. 7. Slow Down Come Up for Air Chew slowly, put your utensil down between bites. Swallow completely before taking your next bite. Have a slow contest. . Count to 10. Read something or say the following affirmation between bites: I love to linger over every bite. I savor the flavor. 8. Dont Forget the Rest of Your Physical Needs Some of us use food as a all-in-one cure for exhaustion, sadness, anger, thirst, boredom and more. Your body needs more than food. It also needs sleep (at least 6-8 hours a day) and exercise. Dont forget to indulge your other senses besides taste such as sight, sound, smell and touch. Look at art or nature, listen to music, light a scented candle or get a massage. Your craving to eat when youre not hungry may be related to deprivation in other areas of your life. 9. Reclaim Your Me Time Is there a hobby you left in the garage? Dust off your tools and dig in the dirt. A little time alone or engaged in your favorite pastime can be so fulfilling that you actually forget about food. Its almost impossible to engage in hobbies like gardening, crocheting, graphic design, sewing or writing and eat at the same time because your hands are too busy and you wouldnt want to get dirt on your food or put your greasy fingers all over your projectwould you? 10. Stay Away From the Scale The metal monster called the scale has incited many a food frenzy. Be it the celebratory I lost weight, Im going to treat myself or the perfectionistic punishment of I didnt lose (or I gained) so whats the point? Most of us can rarely remain neutral or objective when it comes to those numbers on the scale. Take your power away from the scale. Throw it out the window or sell it at a garage sale. Its not your friend! Copyright 2005 Sheri Zampelli Sheri O. Zampelli, M.S., CCH is a clinical hypnotherapist in private practice. Does Healing Belong To Us?

Wednesday, January 23rd, 2008

By Mark E. Baker The question that many Christians have today is, does healing belong to us as it did to the early church? There are 3 basic beliefs on the subject of healing in the modern Christian church. 1. Many believe healing has been done away with, that it was only for the early church and not for us today. This is probably the most wide spread belief. 2. Many believe God does heal as He sees fit, or by some special divine act, or some special faith. 3. The last basic group believes healing belongs to us as part of the atonement of Christ in the redemptive plan of God, along with the remission of sins. These are the 3 main attitudes toward healing in the body of Christ today. The question becomes if the 3rd is right, how could the 2nd be right as well? Many Christians have received divine healing or know someone who did, if this is true, why is not healing a part of the completed work of our Lord Jesus Christ. Does God play favorites? Does He heal based on His whim? Or is He truly no respecter of Persons as His Word says He is? Is He truly the same yesterday today and forever?Lets take a look at the Word of God for the answers to these questions! Psalms 103:1. Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! 2. Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:3. Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, 4. Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, 5. Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. 6. The Lord executes righteousness And justice for all who are oppressed. Even in the Old Testament we see that His benefits include both forgiveness and healing. My question is has God changed in His attitude toward healing the sick? Malachi 3:6. “For I am the Lord, I do not change; therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob. The Lord God Himself says I do not change. Arent you glad He doesnt? I think it is fair to say if the Bible teaches divine healing, it would be safe to teach even if we didnt know of one single case of healing. But at some point in time we have to come to the realization that Gods Word is true. We have to believe in the divine truth of Gods Word. Exodus 15:26. and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.” Exodus 23:25. “So you shall serve the Lord your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will take sickness away from the midst of you. If the attitude God had towards healing was for the children of Israel to be whole in the Old Testament, how much more now? This is a very good question. If this was true then, and it was true according to His Word, how much more now! I believe we need to get some light on this subject. The Word teaches the entrance of his Word gives light, and understanding to the simple.(Ps. 119:130.) If I can get understanding of His will, and that will cause me to be able to receive the truth and reality of His Word then I want it, dont you? Because knowing the truth and then acting on it is what sets you free and makes you whole. Im not talking about a mental ascent to the Word. Im talking about true revelation knowledge that comes from the entrance of His Word. I believe healing for the body is the legal right for every child of God. However, just because we have the legal right to something doesnt mean we are partakers of it, does it? I want to be a partaker of everything the Word of God tells me is legally mine dont you? Lets look at how we can not only know the truth but walk in the reality of it. Our faith can only be based on what the Word of God has already declared. It is sufficient for our faith. We can not have true faith outside of the Word of God. Faith starts where we know and understand the Word of God. There are reasons God’s people dont walk in His promises.1. They can be out of Gods perfect will for their life.2. Not judging ourselves as the Word makes it clear we should.3. Weak in faith.4. Ignorance of what the His Word says. If you dont know the truth, you cant be made free, can you? God said through the Prophet Hosea; Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: God’s people are destroyed, not because God doesn’t care, (If he didnt care Jesus would never have come) but because we dont understand. That is a very sobering thought. Maybe we need to get more knowledge! Sickness and disease originally came from spiritual death, spiritual death came as a result of sin. God told Adam in the day that you eat there of you shall surely die. We know Adam did not die physically that day.Disease would never have come on mans body if Adam had not sinned. Gods attitude towards sickness is the same as it is toward sin. His attitude is the same today as it was in the Old Testament. He never changes does He? Christ came to reveal Gods attitude toward man. If we want to see Gods attitude toward man in action, all we have to do is look at Jesus! Jesus was Gods will in the flesh. Jesus came to reveal the Fathers will toward man. John 14:9. Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, `Show us the Father’? Jesus plainly taught that oppression is of the devil. When people were delivered from the oppression of Satan, their bodies were made whole; in other words their bodies were healed. Some would say Jesus delivered them not healed them, but the Word of God says Jesus healed those who were oppressed. Acts 10:38. “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. This verse of Scripture says that oppression is of the devil, not God. Jesus came and healed ALL that were oppressed of the devil. Luke 13:16. “So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound think of it for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?” Being a daughter of Abraham is another way of saying she is a daughter of Gods Covenant. Jesus said Satan has bound this daughter of Abraham. God didnt bind her, Satan bound her 18 years. Jesus came to loose her, didnt He? Jesus was revealing Gods will toward mankind and His will toward sickness and Satan. You will not find a single instance in the New Testament where God was glorified by one of His people being sick, No Not One! He was glorified when His people were healed and set free from satanic oppressions. 1 John 3:8. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. As we have seen oppression is of the devil, and Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil didnt He? Jesus came to destroy sin and Jesus came to destroy oppression which is a result of sin. John 10:10. “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. If you are full of sin or sickness, you’re not walking in the more abundant life of God are you?You can be set free from both. I am not saying or implying that if you have sickness in your body that it is because you walking in sin, or don’t love God, or are not sincere in your belief, not at all. I know what it is like to be sick and need healing. I believe we have a part to play in this. We have to receive it and truly acknowledge it. In my own experience it took nearly 1 1/2 years before I could fully receive the Word on this subject. When I did I was healed. Just as we have to receive and acknowledge that Jesus shed His blood for us so that we can have eternal life, we must receive and acknowledge that Jesus body was broken so that we can have healing for our bodies. Faith comes from knowing and understanding the Word of God. If you have never been taught along these lines, you can not truly have faith in this area of your life. Faith comes from hearing and hearing the Word of God. Whether it is for salvation or for healing. A good place to start is the Passover. There were no sick among the children of Israel, not one sick person. They All partook of the Passover meal. They were all delivered out of the bondage of Egypt. And they were all healed. This was a type of the coming Christ and our redemption. He told His disciples how to partake of the Passover meal. Mt. 26:26. And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed it and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” 27. Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28. “For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. He told them to take and eat His body, and to drink His blood. They had to partake didnt they, He offered it to them, but they had to partake of it. He told them to partake. It is God’s will that we partake. That is something He will not do for us.They didn’t understand this at that time. Later Peter looking back at Calvary said in; 1 Peter 2:24. who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness by whose stripes you were healed. Peter was quoting Isaiah the 53rd chapter. If you will get a concordance and look at the Hebrew you will see this was talking about physical healing. It is not my purpose to place condemnation on anyone who is sick, God forbid. My purpose is to encourage people to reach out and receive for themselves. Jesus did not come to condemn the world but that through Him we might have life and have it more abundantly. I want people to look these things up for themselves, and see what the Word of God has to say on this subject. I have seen God’s healing power work in me and that of my family and others as well. I could share many marvelous testimonies of healing. Testimonies can encourage, but our faith has to be based on what God’s Word says, not on someone’s testimony. Let’s look on Romans 6:14. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. Thank God for His grace. According to Gods Word, we are saved by grace, and by grace we can defeat the devil. As a matter of fact we are told to resist the devil. James 4:6. But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” 7. Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. When we are submitted to God He gives us the grace to resist the devil. But we have to do the resisting, God will not do that for us, and when we resist the devil he will flee. Gods Word is on the line and he can not lie. He will watch over His Word to perform it. It shall accomplish that which it was sent to do. It will not return void! It is not the will of God the Father that any one of His children to have sickness or disease–None! Remember the 103rd Psalm. Vs.3. Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases. You can not separate them, Jesus paid the penalty for both, so why not enjoy them both? They are freely given, and given at an incredible cost. James 5:14. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. We see that healing and the forgiveness go hand in hand. I’m not here to start an argument, but to start an encouragement. I know that’s not proper grammar, but I hope you take my point. Remember Jesus said to the paralytic man who came for healing, be of good cheer your sins are forgiven you. Then He went on to say Matthew 9:2 And behold, they brought to Him a paralytic lying on a bed. And Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.” 6. “But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins” then He said to the paralytic, “Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.” 7. And he arose and departed to his house. 8. Now when the multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God who had given such power to men. Jesus forgave the mans sins, and then to prove it, He Healed him. You will notice the result was that people glorified God. If you have already made Jesus Christ the Lord of your life then thank God, I would like to encourage you to also accept Him as your Healer. He is both you know? Find out for yourself that He is both. Acknowledge Him as your savior and the forgiver of all your sins and also acknowledge Him as the healer of your body; Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases. Do you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Do you want to be a joint heir with Christ? If so, I urge you to earnestly pray the following prayer. Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. Your word says, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. (Jn.6:37), So I know You wont cast me out, but You take me in, And I thank you for it. You said in your Word, “whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Ro. 10:13). I am calling on Your name, So I know You have saved me now, You also said, that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation. (Ro.10:9,10). I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe He was raised from the dead for my justification. And I confess Him now as my Lord, Because Your Word says, with the heart one believes to righteousness and I do believe with my heart, I have now become the righteousness of God in Christ. (2 Cor. 5:21), And I am saved! Thank You, Lord!I can now truthfully say, I see myself as a born again child of God! Glory to God!!!! Amen. I was raised Catholic, and was born again at the age of 17. I received God’s call into ministry at the age of 19 and began to prepare for ministry. I graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in 1979. The Lord has called me to teach. My desire is to help others come to a knowledge of the truth and I have started a web site for the purpose of teaching and discipleship called The Olive Branch; Mark Bakerhttp://www.olivebranchministries.us Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Mark_E._Baker http://EzineArticles.com/?Does-Healing-Belong-To-Us?&id=167432 viagra sale buy viagra money order zenegraprint sildenafil citrate order form viagra prescription

Private Labeled Bottled Water and Weddings - Pure Water for Special Occasions

Tuesday, January 22nd, 2008

By Jon M. Stout For most people, the wedding is a very important event in their lives. The joining of two people and the creation of a new family is one of the most meaningful occasions in a persons life. Weddings are complex and memorable events. Weddings take extensive planning and good execution as a great number of people come together to celebrate the occasion. Both the wedding itself and the related reception, showers and pre-wedding parties can benefit from custom designed private label drinking water. One very effective way to establish a theme and create reminders of the memorable occasion is private label drinking water. Since a wedding is celebratory with food and refreshments for a large number of persons, private label drinking water serves a number of functions: The label can be designed to celebrate the occasion with quality designed artwork that reflects a custom message and theme The drinking water in the bottle is refreshing and healthy Many of the participants will save the water as a memory of the event The private label water can be combined with other items to create memorable party favors and gift baskets Private label drinking water affords a wedding planner the ability to create a custom designed label with a very personalized message that meets the specification of the wedding couple. Since the event is personal, an individualized thematic message can be created. With the proper technology, high quality individualized graphics can also be added to create a personalized memory. Personalized Bottled Water Memories Personalized bottled water is an excellent way to preserve the memory of the wedding event. With a custom designed label for every occasion, the water can be consumed at the wedding or at a later date. In addition, personalized bottled water is ideal for the common theme of the wedding and associated wedding parties. The technology is available to create a cost effective, high-quality personalized label that imparts a lasting message. Application of a custom designed label to a quality water bottle adds a powerful and distinctive message and advertising component to a high-quality refreshment drink. Often referred to as consumable advertising, personalized bottled water can include graphics and pictures as well as text that can refer to a specific wedding event and can often be modified for subsequent events. Designed labels can also be stored for future use and other occasions like anniversaries and birth announcements. An important feature of branded drinking water is the long term nature of the message. Many people who receive private label water tend to retain the bottles because of the uniqueness and quality of the label. Create a Personal Message and Brand Although brand creation has been identified in the corporate world, individuals can also create their own brand image related to their own interests. Private label water for weddings and anniversaries, the golfer, hunter, fisherman or sports car enthusiast for example can convey a personal message or one related to an individuals club or organization; personalized branding can also create interest and enjoyment at future events or family gatherings. The key to the creation of an effective message is through the development of a unique and focused idea that is simple yet powerful. As a result, care must be taken during label design to maintain quality and keep the message as simple as possible. The Element of Quality An overriding feature in the creation of personalized bottled water is the consideration of quality in three areas: Quality of water The basic element of private label bottled water is, of course, water. However, there are many differences in the quality of bottled water. Ultra-pure bottled water produced by a combination of the distillation, filtration and oxygenation processes is considered by many to be of the best quality because it tastes very good and does not contain minerals, contaminants or bacteria. Quality of packaging Since personalized bottled water combines health, refreshment and advertising, the packaging component must make a bold and forthright statement. Substandard bottle quality will seriously compromise the strength of the message. Quality of labeling design, printing and application The label is the most significant part of private label drinking water; the message must be communicated in the strongest and clearest way in order to extend its original intent to the consumer. The label should be developed by a graphics designer or with technology that will aid the consumer in developing their own quality image. Printing is especially critical and the printing process should create labels that are guaranteed to have the same quality of any top-shelf brand in your gourmet or quality food store. All labels should be waterproof and preferably laminated to ensure a long service life. What to Look For In a Private Label Water Supplier Personalized bottled water has become increasingly popular for personal life style events. This is particularly true with the advent of e-commerce that allows users the ability to design a label and purchase water online. Quality is critical because the label serves as a statement for the individual. If any portion of the water, package or label combination contains substandard quality, then the entire product is compromised. Reliable vendors with a reputation for quality, customer service and the ability to design labels and provide online service will almost always guarantee customer satisfaction. Jon M.
